The Liaoning Provincial Key Laboratory of Energy Conservation and New Energy Vehicle Dynamics Control was established in 2009 with the approval of the Department of Science & Technology of Liaoning Province and accepted in 2010. The laboratory has 42 permanent personnel, with 10 full seniors, 19 associate seniors, 1 Changjiang scholar, 1 National Thousand Talent, 1 Chinese Government Special Subsidy winner, 1 first & second level National Ten-Million Talents Plan winner, 1 winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 1 "863 Program" winner, 1 China's Young Thousand Talent, 1 Liaoning Ten-Million Talent, 1 Top Talent in Disciplines of Liaoning Universities, and 6 experts from Liaoning Association of Automobile Manufacturers. Located in Liaoning, the laboratory aims at international frontiers and focuses on key scientific problems related to the development of energy conservation and new energy vehicles. It creates a platform integrating industry, university, and research and featuring electrified, lightweight and intelligent vehicles under the principle of serving local economy and promoting local industrial, educational, and research development. With high quality and great capability in scientific research, the personnel have undertaken and completed national and provincial research projects with the support of the laboratory. They give full play to the advantages of talents and laboratory facilities and explore new directions and problems of the development of new energy vehicles to build a high-level innovation research platform and high-level research facilities, and cultivate high-level scientific and technological talents. Meanwhile, the laboratory promotes international cooperation. It focuses on technical difficulties in the development of new energy vehicles and supporting industries and technical bottlenecks in new product development, aims at becoming a scientific research platform and guarantee, technical support and talent reserve for the development of Liaoning automotive industry, and contributes to the development of China's automotive industry and its independent intellectual property brands.
